Will my user name and e-mail address be anonymous to other users?
We suggest that you choose an email address to register that is not the one your friends and family know if you prefer anonymity . Set up a new e-mail address with many of the free services around. Your e-mail address will be displayed when another buddy clicks on your user name after they have narrowed down their search for a buddy. Of course your user name will be displayed.

What if I find no one available under the zip code I search under?
If you have a hard time finding someone to connect with (no one is available under 100 miles distance), please keep checking back as the site is new and people are joining daily.

How do I know if I can trust someone when we decide to meet?
You will need to communicate with the buddy clearly and concisely with them by e-mail several times as to what your needs are. Grammar and the tone of the e-mail will tell you a lot about their intentions. We also suggest communicating with them via cell phone, (not your home phone). We do not suggest meeting them face to face unless you feel confident and maybe have developed a friendship. We would do this at a neutral location. Do not give out your home address or any other personal information if you choose not to.

How do I cancel my subscription?
For your security, once your membership period expires, your membership will automatically be cancelled and your information will be removed from our system. If you would like to cancel your membership before that time you can email us by clicking here. Just put the word 'Cancel' in the subject line and include your username in the body of the message.
